Galaxiaway is a platform dedicated to helping children step into the digital world by teaching them programming skills and preparing them to become future technology leaders. We are looking for a Programming Instructor for Children who is passionate about providing programming education to young learners. Our mission is to guide children in developing their analytical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity through programming.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Educational Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience, particularly in teaching programming to children.
- Knowledge of pedagogical approaches and teaching methods tailored to children.
- Experience with key programming languages such as Python, Scratch, Java, HTML/CSS.
- Ability to create and adapt lesson materials for different age groups.
- Skills in creating engaging, creative, and motivating learning environments for children.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Turkish.
- Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with children and support them throughout their learning process.
Technical Qualifications:
- Experience using digital educational platforms and tools for teaching programming to children.
- Ability to design age-appropriate lesson plans using basic programming languages.
- Ability to stay updated with technological advancements and ensure that the educational content remains current.
- Knowledge of developing, implementing, and evaluating educational materials.
Health Requirements:
- Ability to maintain the energy and creativity required to work with children.
- Compliance with legal health and safety standards required by the profession.
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in both Turkish and English (written and spoken is mandatory).
- Additional language skills are a plus.
Recruitment Process:
Our recruitment process is fair, fast, and transparent. Candidates will go through a three-stage evaluation process to assess their professional qualifications and compatibility with our team:
- Preliminary Interview: A meeting to discuss your experience, career goals, and motivation to join Galaxiaway.
- Technical Evaluation: You will be given a case study related to teaching programming to children, where your teaching skills will be assessed.
- Final Interview with Senior Management: A final interview with senior leadership to assess your fit with our company culture and strategic goals.
Successful candidates will receive a formal offer at the conclusion of the process.
