Position Overview
Galaxiaway is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to effectively manage financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes. In this role, you will assess and control financial risks, optimize cash flow, and contribute to the company’s growth through strategic financial decisions. You will also work closely with senior management to prepare financial analyses, performance reports, and develop financial strategies.
General Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably with a proven track record in the technology or education sectors
- Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Proficiency in financial software and Excel
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration across teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional certifications (CPA, CMA) are preferred,
Technical Qualifications
- Experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes
- Knowledge of ERP systems and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Proficiency in preparing financial statements and complying with IFRS or local accounting standards for reporting
- Expertise in budget management, cash flow management, and financial modeling
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyze complex data and utilize reporting tools
- Knowledge of tax and regulatory requirements, with familiarity in financial audit processes
- Experience in cost analysis, investment evaluation, and risk management
- Expertise in tracking financial performance and managing KPIs

Language Requirements
English proficiency is mandatory during the application process. Candidates must possess one of the following language proficiency certificates:
- IELTS: Minimum score of 6.5
